I've been practicing yoga for some time, finding it to be emotionally, physically, and spiritually healthy.  Recently, I enrolled in a 200 hour class to become a Registered Yoga Teacher. This class meets the entry level teacher certification set by Yoga Alliance, a national nonprofit that promotes high standards for yoga teachers.  I hope to graduate in November 2018, at which time I will likely continue my training to the 500 hour level (i.e., the next step), while also offering private yoga sessions and light body movements and stretches for those therapy clients who wish to have this.  There is a known mind/body connection and it is believed that trauma can be stored in the body and released with some yoga movements.     

As part of my yoga training, I offer free private yoga sessions at this time with the understanding that I am still in training. Sessions can be arranged at a mutually convenient location, such as one's home or the jetty, where dolphins play, turtles swim, and ships sail by ... Namaste ...
